Learn, two of five
Most Ghanaian offer figures were not published by the bookmaker
Six of the nine welcome offers on file in this market appear on no operator page that could be read from anywhere. They are what a handful of affiliate sites agree on, and every table on this site labels them as such.
The three states a figure can be in
- The bookmaker published it. Read off the operator's own promotions page, terms or help centre. Strongest available, and it is still what the operator says about itself rather than an independent check.
- Several affiliates agree on it. No operator surface states it. This is the usual case here, and it is materially weaker, because affiliate pages in this market copy each other and sometimes copy each other's mistakes.
- Checked, and there is nothing. Somebody read the operator's own pages and found no welcome offer at all. That is a finding, not a gap, and it is why four books in this market are absent from the offer table.

Three tells worth learning
Identical phrasing. If two pages describe an offer in the same words, they are not two readings. Somebody read once and somebody else copied.
A figure with no ceiling and no window. A real published offer has both, because a bookmaker has to bound its own liability. A percentage on its own is usually a headline somebody lifted.
A rating from the wrong country. Store ratings and review scores are country scoped, and the same brand can read very differently in Ghana, Nigeria and Europe. Nearly every review score in circulation about these companies belongs to a different country's customers.
That last one is not a small problem. Across thirteen brands this site is carrying 70 specific claims that were found, checked and rejected, and the largest single category is a score attached to the wrong country. Each bookmaker's page lists its own.
Provenance, asked plainly
- If five sites say the same thing, is that not corroboration?
- Only if the five looked independently. In this market they frequently do not: identical phrasing, identical figures and in some cases identical errors travel between affiliate pages, so five agreeing sources can be one source wearing five hats. Where that was suspected the fact base says so on the record.
- Why publish a figure at all if the bookmaker does not?
- Because the alternative is a blank row about a bookmaker readers are already being sold. The figure is published with a label saying where it came from, which lets a reader weigh it. Publishing it silently would be repeating an affiliate’s claim in a real company’s name.
- What does “checked and absent” mean?
- That somebody read the promotions page, the terms, the knowledge base and the registration flow and there was no welcome offer on any of them. Three of the books here are in that state, and at two of them affiliate sites still advertise an offer that the operator's own surfaces do not carry.
